The solution to complex problems isn't always complex software.

I'm Marvin, a freelance software developer who loves to create custom solutions.

The hard part is rarely the code that needs to be written but deeply understanding the problem and finding just the right solution. Coming from Digital Humanites and and having worked across many different fields, it's easy for me to understand what you are working with, not just the technical problem, and find a solution that really fits.

I also love to work on my own projects. I run paperboat.website, a website platform without algorithms and bloat, and I'm currently building a synthesizer from scratch based on schematics from the 1970s. Both couldn't be more different and yet both come from the same place: Wanting to truly understand something, and then build it properly.
