Coffee October 2024

My last Kalas visit probably was years ago at this point. I had an appointment nearby and decided to have a cup of filter coffee. They offer several roasts and this one caught my eye. It wasn’t quite as easy to replicate at home, but the cup I had there strongly resembled cherry juice. A coarser grind did it in the end. 23 clicks on the Comandante.
A friend brought this bag from vacation in Peru. I really enjoy its full body. Seems to be a bit on the roasty side but still a very sweet cup. 20-22 clicks.
Yet another friend brought a bag of Vista Hermosa (coffee collective) from their trip to Denmark. Last time I tasted this was probably in 2018. 20 clicks.
Opening the bag revealed a very fruity smell which reminded me of lychee and yellow tomato soup. Smelled very much like fruit tea while brewing. Brews were easy with very good results. 21 clicks.
