How I'm Brewing Coffee
Categories: [coffee]
Using a V60, a Comandante grinder, boiling water and regular Hario filters, these are the parameters I stick to. A few years ago I started simplifying my brews. After seeing Matt Winton's five pour recipe I was inspired to experiment less and stick to one main recipe where I would branch out from. I manage to get brews that I consider really good 90% of the time using just that recipe that you can see above. I set my Comandante to 20 clicks as a starting point and go from there. If I know the coffee has more fines which cause stalling, I start at 22. My brews are focused on body and are less tea-like.
